GAME DEVELOPMENT STUDENT ASSOCIATION (GDSA)

The Game Development Students Association strives to engage, support and represent game development students on campus by providing opportunities for growth that lead to success.

NETWORKING & IT SECURITY STUDENT SOCIETY (NETSoc)

We are a student association with the primary goal to enhance Ontario Tech’s Networking and IT Security program to provide the best Information Technology program experience!

We are dedicated to improving both the academic and professional development of our peers by developing a wide range of activities that introduce students to a variety of industry perspectives within the IT community.

We host workshops, study sessions, guest speaker events, an annual student-led Capture the Flag (CTF) challenge, and send contestants to Hackfest – the largest hacking event in Canada! We welcome you to join contact us and join our events if you have any interest in Networking and IT Security!

ONTARIO TECH ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATION (OTAA)

The Ontario Tech Accounting Association (OTAA) is a student run organization which strives to provide Ontario Tech students many opportunities to become successful! As an association under the Business and IT Society (BITSoc) we are dedicated to serving our accounting students and assist them into entering the accounting profession. As we host professional building workshops, networking sessions, and an annual case competition; we ensure that our members obtain the most benefit from their university experience.

ONTARIO TECH FINANCE ASSOCIATION (OTFA)

To promote a better understanding of the finance field through the sponsorship of events featuring business professionals, educators and peers. To educate in the areas of, but not limited to, investment banking, sales and trading, management, etc.

HUMAN RESOURCES ASSOCIATION (HRA)

The Human Resources Association is a student-run association at Ontario Tech University that serves as an information portal to provide the opportunity for Ontario Tech students to gain the needed skills, experience, and connections to thrive in their careers in the Human Resources Profession, and throughout the business environment.

WOMEN IN IT (WIT)

We are a sub-association at Ontario Tech University that is open to all, with the main focus of empowering and connecting women currently in or entering the IT field. WIT aims to create an inclusive space where everyone feels welcome while ensuring that equality exists in the IT field across all genders.

The Ontario Tech Marketing Association (OTMA) is a student-run campus club that works to better the experience for students interested in marketing, by running student-social events, marketing workshops, networking events, and competitions.

Women in Business is an organization at Ontario Tech University that focuses on bringing together women in business to network, develop their skills and focus on the achievements of women everywhere. We are focused on creating new ideas, inspiring others to reach their goals, and educating everyone on the obstacles that everyone faces in the business world.

Technology Management Student Association (TMSA)

Technology Management Student Association (TMSA) is a student-run establishment that strives to provide Ontario Tech students with opportunities for success. As an Association that is in the process of becoming an organization recognized by the Business and IT Student Society (BITSoc) we are dedicated to being in service to all Technology Management students and more. We provide events that include networking, workshops and socials with other student organizations and different companies in Ontario.
